| The girls and I went on a weekend trip to Normandy. We booked the car, THEN looked for a hotel on the busiest travel weekend in France, which is why we ended up sleeping on a double-decker bus. |
It had a cute table and bar, and electricity and indoor plumbing. |
| But it also had a faintly musty smell to it and just wasn't the type of place you could get comfortable. |
It did have a cute terrace, but the chairs and table were way too rusty to sit on. |
| But when in France (and staying in a crummy bus), drink wine. Which is what me, Genevieve, Kerstin, and Ange did and it did help the smell a little. |
The next day, though, we all agreed to check out ASAP and head to city of Deauville. We had a nice lunch at a nice place that wasn't musty, and then set off to find a new place to sleep for the night. We couldn't find anything in Deauville so we decided to head to Honfleur, but of course we made a pit stop at the beach first. |

| Honfleur is a super cute town and we stayed at a super cute hotel and then after dinner we came across a super cute town square where all the locals were dancing to live music in honor of Bastille Day. So we joined in. |
The next day we ate the world's biggest breakfast in the harbor of Honfleur, before heading back to Paris for the evening fireworks. |
